the indianapolis mutt strut is an annual fundraiser
for the humane society.
dogs and their owners have an opportunity to make a
2.5 mile walk around the indianapolis motor speedway
and the proceeds go to a good cause.
this was bobo's first year and he was excited!

my mother had a st. bernard in the 70s.
there were a lot of bassets in attendance!
bobo hopes that his cousin obie can come next year.
after about 10 minutes bobo got a flat tire.
i walked him back through the grass
so that his sensitive pinky toe wouldn't hurt.
they fixed him up right away at the "paw check".
the ladies were WONDERFUL.
he is all doctored up and ready to get back on the track!
i mean, take a nap.
1/2 a mile did him in.
all that matters is that you did your best, honey.

he must make sure that there is no room
for other pups to belly up and disturb him.

he met a 9 wk old mastiff puppy.
he also met a handsome show mastiff, stoli!
bo was obviously very interested in hearing about
the show mastiff's strong qualities.

and bobo met a beautiful girl, betty.
she was pretty timid around bo, bless her heart.
he thought she would be impressed by his double handkerchief.
it doesn't appear to be love at first sight.

I am totally impressed with BOBO's accomplishments at the Mutt Strut. He is some guy. I wish my Gracie Faith could have met him. I know she would have loved him. She is a 14 pound Bichon who loves to play with her big brother, 64 pound Chocolate lab mix named Hooch. Your commentaries were great!
