mr. perry and i don't always agree on everything.

we. are. polar. opposites.

confession. i read self help books. and i LOVE them!

i'm in the middle of 5, yes five, books right now.

2011 resolution #1.

focus on mr. perry's positive attributes when we butt heads.

just to name a few...

he's happy to get a new basketball for christmas!

when bobo thought our last bball was his toy in

the middle of our game of pig,

grant wasn't even phased that bo deflated it.

(it was probably because i was winning. jk. i never win unless i play dirty.)

he let's bo smell the candle.

he let's bo sit in his lap.

melt my heart. he let me put my sleeping nephew in his lap.

i caught him reading to my niece.

he played connect 4 with my nephews and did not win every game. good work.

he takes bo for walks, even in the freezing cold.

bo adores him.

he smiles for the camera even though i take a gazillion pictures and the colts are losing.

he looked very jax teller at the last purdue game.

when i say that, i mean yes please.

he made a cute sign and cheered me on when i ran a half marathon in november.

it was only 30 degrees and he had to get up at the crack of dawn!

grant and bo had zero interest in adding a female mastiff to the family.

they still drove 30 min. on a work night so that we could meet her.

he still loves me even with a stache.

not only was he ok with me working in new jersey for 1 month,

but he sent me cards and flowers.

he let's bobo watch football with him.

he goes to fun concerts with me and dances his huge heart out.

sleigh bells this summer 2010.

he spent time with his grandma and listened to her stories.

he travels abroad with me.

he even went on the sound of music tour with me

and

took a picture with me at the infamous 16 going on 17 pavilion.

what? the hike takes 45 min or we can take an elevator? oh, we got this in 30 min or less... no problem. it took us 45 min of blood sweat & tears. i talked him in to it and look! still makes me laugh so hard. thank you, honey.

we do house projects together. like staining our huge deck.
