A little art project ...

Well, we're coming up on 7 years of marriage and we've known each other for 15 years!  Holy #*%#.  I have to remind myself of what "love" is daily.  And let's be honest, sometimes early on, it's easier to think that I need to remind my partner what love is.  But I have learned that I get back what I put in so it truly starts with me.  This post was really meant to just show you a little project and then I started rambling.  I'm just waiting in this long line to pick up pizza for my family so I figured I may as well explain myself!
Ok. So I found these clearance pottery barn kids chalkboards hidden back by the bathrooms (who said there aren't fun surprises when you have to take your small human to the bathroom in public places!). Anyways, they look kind of rustic so I figured I could use them for my "adult" areas even though they're from PBK!!

I grabbed a chalk board chalk pen and some stencils at Michaels and went to town!  I actually did the first chalk board the night I brought it home and literally did the second 2 months later because I was so over the stencil!  And that's how I usually am with projects (don't read this, Grant!)

I'm not a huge fan of the free-hand "love never fails" but I couldn't leave that part out and there's no way in hell I was going to re-do the first two chalkboards to make more room. AND DONE!

1 Corinthians 13:4-8New International Version (NIV)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
